Dannielle Young

Dannielle Young has over 10 years extensive experience exclusively in Family Law. Prior to joining Berck Solicitors Dannielle was the sole practitioner of her own family law firm in south-east Queensland, and prior to that has also worked in both small and large firms within Brisbane. Dannielle is an experienced family law solicitor both in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (formerly the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia), the Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates Court of Queensland and has a reputation for her “no nonsense” approach to resolving matters and achieving workable long term solutions for each client. Dannielle understands that separation is an emotional and stressful time for all those involved and her method is to deal with your matter with respect and empathy to help you through all aspects of family law.

Dannielle’s academic and professional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Laws, Griffith University;
  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Griffith University;
  • Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Queensland University of Technology;
  • Solicitor of the High Court of Australia;
  • Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Dannielle’s other qualifications and experience include:

  • Member of the Queensland Law Society;
  • Member of the Family Law division of the Law Council of Australia;
  • Member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland;
  • Member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Queensland Inc;
  • Previous volunteer at YFS Community Legal Centre;
